  several days ago i was waiting at the deli for the next batch of fried chicken when a man in his sixties came in.

  he had called in his order two days earlier.

  • The only two scriptures have have remotely any relevance to birthdays are:

    Job 1:4: "His sons used to go and hold a feast in the house of each one on HIS DAY, and they would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them."

    and Romans 14:5,6: " 5One man regards a certain day above the others, whilesomeone elseconsiders every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced inhis own mind. 6He who observes a special day does so to the Lord; he who eats does so to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.…"

  Convention 2019: Children told don't form emotional attachment to pets!

  i have just heard from a visitor to the jehovah's witnesses convention for 2019, that they have been told; 'not to form an emotional attachment to their pets, as animals don't have feelings anyway'.. well, that should break a few children hearts!👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 🥴 😭 💔.

  i have read extensively about the origins of birthdays, and i still don't get it.

  but it's not what it means today.. even wedding veils were used to ward off the "evil eye".

  i had this article pop up about the darksilver case.

  it says a federal magistrate in san francisco has now ruled that darksilver can remain anonymous but then it says except for identification to lawyers for the religion’s watchtower publication.

  the last i knew, certain fractions were considered a conscience matter.

  blood derived vaccinations were cleared, saying that the blood part has been removed.

  for the second year in a row, the org has marked international women's day.

  this time, it's an article that lists most female bible characters in alphabetical order with a brief summary for each, topped by a picture of them in 'empowering' poses.
